Enjoi Review
 It's impossible to start a skate company nowadays without having some sort of marketing image. You're either the yo company or the Christian company or the evil company or the gnar dog company. Just about anything you think of has been or is being done. Some companies base their whole line on cartoon characters or photos of dead people, and it's just all a bit old. I think Neil Blender said something once about the whole skull and crossbones thing being tired, and that was like in the earlier '90s. (Ed. note: Corey O'Brien board. "C'mon, boys, it's the '90s, let's lose the skulls"). But I understand the minds of children, and I understand they need something personal to latch onto, and that's what these companies are catering to, but I'm not really sure what enjoi is going for. Their whole company is based on a social issue that really has no relevance in 2002. In case you're unaware why Marc Johnson started enjoi and spelled it the way he did is because of his strong belief that O.J. Simpson did not kill his wife. Write enjoi on a piece of paper and hold it up to a mirror: I OJ ne. Which, basically, is Marc placing himself on the juror at O.J.'s trial and saying, "I say nay to O.J. being guilty." Now, whatever your take on O.J. and the murders, I don't care. I think he did it. Shit, I think he thinks he did it, but who cares? Like how '95 is this whole issue. No one gives a shit. So I want to know what Marc Johnson thinks he's going to accomplish by
brainwashing all the kids that love and buy his products to do? O.J. is free. He was found not guilty. The case is closed. I mean, Marc, even if you're a huge football fan, you know O.J. sold out way before he killed, or didn't kill, his wife. Why not try and support a hardworking, drug-using brother like Laurence Taylor? Sure, entli isn't as catchy of a name as enjoi, but when you take a step back, don't you think cocaine use and paying for prostitutes is cooler to kids than murder? Seriously.
